I am sending this information in support of the HTML Microsdata format:
http://www.w3.org/TR/microdata/
I would point out the RDF Data Cube Vocabulary:
http://www.w3.org/TR/vocab-data-cube/
To be more useful; it would be a very good thing if the data represented in
the HTML Microdata format would support a multidimensional model.
As an example of multidimensional model functionality, I would provide this
blog post which explains the multidimensional model:
http://xbrl.squarespace.com/journal/2016/3/18/introduction-to-the-multidimen
sional-model-for-professional.html
The examples attached show how this use case is met via the Inline XBRL
Specification and XBRL Dimensions:
https://specifications.xbrl.org/work-product-index-inline-xbrl-inline-xbrl-1
..1.html
I would be happy to provide additional information or explain this use case
should you be interested.
Respectfully,
